Does anyone know if you transfer universities? I am thinking of Durham, Newcastle, Bristol, York, Edinburgh...
I am a business student but want to do something with the environment so was thinking of changing to Geogrphy as a joint honours but don't want to do my first year again.

It's hard enough to enter the same subject without having to repeat a year, let alone taking on a joint subject.
Chances are, they will say no all-together. The next possibility is that they will want you to repeat. Even more unlikely is that they will accept you into 2nd year with your current subject, and then even MORE unlikely is that you can change your subject too.
