I'm jsut using one of each format like poetry and prose and finding quotes that I can force to apply to anything.

Me too i dont know any poems!!!!!! Can you help me theme  ?

Ill do what i can to help you lol!

Hardy's main themes are:
The Women Question - The Ruined Maid and both of the tragedies.
War - Drummer Hodge and The Oxen
Loss of faith in religion - The Levelled Churchyard, Channel Firing
Fate - Hap and Convergence of the Twain
Emma - any of the Emma poems
Apprehension for the turn of the century - The Darkling Thrush
Imperialism - Convergence of the Twain
Rural life - Throwing A Tree, We Field Women

A lot of Hardy's themes (apprehension for turn of the century and the women question, for example) were quite typical for that time, but his poems on fate and war show how out of step he was with his contemporaries.

That's what I've got anyway  Hope it helps?

The Kite Runner isn't poetry :p:
As far as I know, for the poetry section, you do not need to demonstrate wider reading... if I am wrong, could someone alert me to my ignorance?

Nope. But it w2ould be a good idea to get critical view stuff if that count as 'wider reading'

Mostly I just read over them and then pick the ones I usually use in my past papers and do spider diagrams with the most important points on each one? It's really hard to revise poems, especially when there's that many...

Our teacher didn't even finish of the collection and we've only studied around more than half of the prescribed amount. :frown:

What themes have you revised and what do you think will come up?
