I know it clearly says 'TV' and not 'Radio' but they both do give you BBC. So just to be sure, do I need a TV license to listen to the radio in uni?

make sure you get a radio license because if they catch you listening to the radio they'll lock you up!

You only need a TV license to watch television as it's being shown. Online catch-up services (iPlayer, 4OD etc), radio, and televisions you don't use to watch live TV can all be used without a license.
Jeez some people are dumb. :facepalm2:

A TV and a radio are different, a TV licence has nothing to do with it providing the BBC or not, if all you were going to watch was ITV you'd still need a licence. You should be alright
