A word of caution though...we can only say what happened to us or our friends THIS year. Word is that many unis are upping their offers and being more selective with ps or LNAT scores for next year. Don't forget that just because you meet the av offer in the prospectus it doesn't mean they will offer you a place...as I know...

Just checked Bristol website to see what they say for 2006. They are very clear on their way of choosing students - points for best 3 A levels, points for best 8 GCSEs, marks for LNAT and for essay (which we weren't told) plus marks for each element of PS ( sport or music achievements etc, positions of responsibility etc). Highest marks get an offer.They also say offers will be AAA-AAB but most will expect to be AAA students.
