IMDB Top 250 films leaderboard - how many have you watched?

I have seen roughly about 100/120. I just use it as a way of finding a good movie to watch when I'm bored (I'm bored alot!!). There's a few that are really low and others that are really high that shouldn't be but a suppose everyone has an opinion!

It's probably been mentioned already, but how on earth is Django Unchained in the top 250 films... I really didn't rate it that highly. It was alright, but by no means is it one of the best films of all time. And how are none of the James Bond films in there? Surely they're absolute classics? Not even Casino Royale, Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies made it? Madness!
You have loyal fans to certain directors and they'll rate their films in a semi-regardless manner sometimes. Plus there's the added fact that Django Unchained has just come out and over time it'll probably decrease in rating as more non avid Tarantino fans see it on DVD/TV/illegally.
Everyone has their favourite Bond movie (or few favourites) and the high ratings are dispersed?

Well I am a huge movie buff probably watched over 2500+ movies at least. So, its still a disappointment to not watch at least 180/250.

Wow that's a lot. How did you estimate? I have 1391 movies and TV shows rated on my IMDB account, but I have seen far more than that (mostly German TV movies) but couldn't even begin to form an estimate.

If you have 1391 rated, then you definitely watched 2500+ too. Unless you rated every single movie you watched in IMDb.

I have rated every new movie that came out for sure since like 09 that I have seen. Ones before that, no idea. But I mean all those movies you ever saw on TV, late at night, I can see why you would think a lot would have gone unrated.

Its great that you are a rating buff like me. I try rate every movie I watch but I also have over 100+ unfinished movies I haven't rated.

Just checked your voting history, you got some pretty nice films in there! Gonna watch some of them
It's actually 27/250, but it doesn't seem to have updated yet.

Thanks, but you have watched some great classics which I have in my collection just never got the time to watch it.

I don't have Third Man. I want to watch Maltese Falcon but I guess will have to make the time. Its a great movie I heard.
I have watched the rest, all three my fav Some Like It Hot being too funny.
But my most fav comedy definitely is Dr Strangelove.
