If the dog isn't strictly yours then it shouldn't be your job to find someone to look after it. You should be focussing on things that are actually important to you, like seeing your girlfriend, screw the dog.

She doesn't travel.

My mum can't come, I explained why earlier in the thread, mainly that my dad would notice from seeing my ticket was booked until sunday instead of wednesday!

As for the putting her down comment. I don't care if people think that's a bad thing to say, just because you like dogs doesn't mean I have to.
