Do you not have a twitter acc? If not, why don't you want one?

Poll

Do you have a twitter?

Why not? It's part of future social networking. Facebook will start declining and losing its members srsly sometime in 2012 (maybe early 2012) or so

I have an account but I don't use it. I made it just incase my name gets taken and I want to use it in the future.
its already part of social networking... and definitely won't be the thing that kills of facebook

Because I waste enough time on TSR, thanks.

Twitter is for mongs, it's the most pathetic, egotistical thing on the internet.
Got an account at about 3AM in a moment of sheer boredom. Still do not know why, I can see no point other than to brag about how dull your life is.

I thought the exact same thing, then I started using it regularly. A lot of people that do use it are like that but not all, same thing could be said for people that use facebook or go on internet forums

Nothing social about it at all and i find it quite cringeworthy when someone brings up Twitter, its such an abysmal use of time.

I got it because sometimes I just chat too much **** for facebook and don't think everyone would appreciate me putting about 5 statuses in a row. I can also put more emo "poor me" stuff without looking like an attention seeker :p:
I still prefer and use facebook more - twitter has a stupid character limit and networking is easier on fbook. In terms of socialising, twitter is actually appalling in terms of being a "social networking" site.
You're misinformed if you think Twitter is the Facebook killer. It definitely is not.

They have entirely different purposes. One is for connecting you to your friends, the other acts as a wider information platform to share anything with the world. The text-based focus of Twitter also contrasts to the more interactive Facebook elements.

It makes no sense at all to think that Twitter will wipe out Facebook.

tsr > twitter

Lol, I'm not even lying either.
I have Twitter, and I do look at it quite a lot, but mainly because I like to watch the people I'm following. They are mainly celebs  I find it quite interesting actually.

As opposed to TSR
Have one, don't use it. Only thing I actually use social networking for most of the time is organising events, don't hugely care about status updates most of the time which is all Twitter does.
I do have it but I never use it. It was just really boring and pointless. There's nothing to do on it other than tell people random crap about your life that they blatantly don't care about hearing. At least on Facebook you can have pictures and stuff, and stupid games to waste time with. Twitter seems like a one-trick pony by comparison.

Same. I don't really care if people are interested in my (boring) updates or not. I like following people though. It's quite interesting to see what people can say in under 140 characters or less.

Didn't say it was The Facebook killer, but it's part of future social networking, I'm sure some amazing social networking site that's better than facebook and twitter will come from nowhere in 2011 or something and start Facebooks' downfall, or it may be more than one website

I'm seeing quite a few people using foursquare as well now, don't know if that's gonna gain more popularity though, but it's likely to be because of a brand new social networking website that hasn't been made yet
I have an account, but use it mostly for keeping up with news and see what **** celebs are saying. Other than that, I don't see how people see it as a Facebook 'Killer', when you can't really interact with each other, and have a seriously and annoyingly limited character number to work with.
