cash-in problem. didn't receive grade.

hi. i am an international student. i don't know where to write this. please move if it is not in the right section. i got my result on the internet today. but only marks. no grades. no grades for as or a2 or overall. apparently it is because of a problem with the cash-in code. now there are 3 days left for registration for june 11. i have to know if i should resit. it is difficult because i don't know my grade. can you please convert these marks to grades? these are ums marks.

Try to remember/find maximum mark for each paper.

For example I guess maximum marks for biology 01 is 120
so find out percentage of marks your scored from 120 i.e.

[obtained marks/maximum possible marks ] * 100

for bio 01 it's 113/120*100 =94% so for this unit, this is A.
after finding out percentage, if you get
>80% =A
70-79 =B
60-69 =C
50-59 =D
40-49 =E etc.

Similarly find for other modules.
For over grading, i'm not sure about the criteria but I think it is
80% overall AS+A2 AND >90% average of A2 units ------>A*
80% overall AS+A2 only --->A
70% overall AS+A2 only ----->B etc.

The document attached shows conversion of raw marks to UMS but since you already know your UMS, dont worry about conversion of grade boundaries.

Thanks a lot. that really helped. one last question. is the overall a2 grade stated separately on the certificate? because my a2 bio grade is b. but overall grade is a. i don't want a b on my certificate. and if i apply to uni do i have to submit just the overall grade of a subject? or include the a2 grade separately? this is gonna decide if i retake bio4 or not.
