got all my acknowledgments or at least emails saying "thankyou for applying blah blah" if that's what an acknowledgement is haha

Jeez, was there a reason for them making him wait so long?

That would drive the most patient of people crazy

It was standard practice for art schools. (I assume it still is, although this was 2 years ago.) They don't even start interviewing until Feb/Mar because most people applying will be doing an art foundation and they won't have built up a portfolio in their chosen specialism before then. That and the fact that Edinburgh is notoriously slow.

I have two acknowledgments so far from Sheffield and Birmingham! My application was sent wednesday and my Sheffield one came yesterday so it seem they've processed my app at UCAS pretty quickly!

nooooooo i paid on tuesday too and my school sent it off on wednesday too in the morning. i'm the only one applying this early, out of 3 people applying to UK at my school -_- I want an acknowledgement from Oxford... I've only got my UCL one T_T

They are only acknowledgements that mean nothing and more than likely just an automated system...

Sent it off yesterday & have received one acknowledgement so far from Cambridge (so that I could complete the SAQ).

I'm gonna be a rebel and log onto track. Without the stuff from my welcome pack. DAREDEVIL.

I got the acknowledgement from Sheffield two days after my UCAS application was processed.

SAQ = bane of my existence.

Agreed. Up until yesterday, it was my PS, now this..it's never-ending.

It's just shocking. I've done a majority of it and hoping to finish it by.. tuesday? Sounds doable...

14 early entries seems like a lot! I'm the only one at my school :/ I'm applying to read English Literature, which I know is notorious for sending out late offers. However, that doesn't stop me daydreaming about being an exception to the rule!
