Would you let your partner pretend to be with someone else

not sure where this goes sorry

I had this idea randomly today based on what a friend was talking about, would you let your bf/gf pretent to be with someone else in the below situations

A. Say your friend wanted to go to a club but knew they would get people of the other gender speaking to them all night unless they had a person of the other gender was with them, if they asked would you let your bf/gf go with them?
B. same as A except the friend isnt your frient its your partners friend
C. Party where your friend wants to avoid being the only single person there
D. A friends family event

Entirely depends on context and reason. If it's purely pretend to keep the person from being hassled, then I see no reason not to, as they're not doing anything. I've often stepped in for my mates and pretended to be their boyfriend to keep unwanted attention away, like.

For instances like C and D, I wouldn't care overly, but I wouldn't see the point in lying, especially when it would be pretty obvious the two weren't together. Just seems like it would be far too awkward the pretend-partner, really.
