bit of an obvious question really isn't it? It's a 18+ rule for a reason, not a 18+ (give a take a few months).

I had the same problem but i was the one that was 17 :frown: Luckily enough i waited to the end and cause i looked older than some of the mates that were 18 they just assumed i was too and let me in without checking  but then other times i did get turned away even with someone elses :frown:

Not legally, obviously not.
My mates 17 and he gets in because he has a full driving licence and when the bouncers see that it's pink and he's acting all relaxed they often don't look properly.

No, the bouncers will ask for ID.
The only way it might be possible is if you go on the midnight of your birthday, but even then you could get rejected. Just wait 'til you are old enough

You mean midnight of your birthday as in... when you turn 18?
A club is not going to turn you back for narrowly being 18, if you're 18 then you're legit surely?

When I was 17 I used to get in a lot really. Rarely would I get refused. I didn't get ID until I was about 20. I don't get ID'd at tesco either.

Nah, only reason I could get into clubs when I was 16/17 is because I'm 6'6" and hairy like the wolf and have been since I was about 13.
I've seen loads of fake IDs and they all stand out by a mile, you might be fine in some pubs though. If you don't get served just drink cokes all night.

do you think that this is a joke? the lord WILL punish you for your ignorance, although i cannnot help you unless you are willing to be helped.

Actual lol.

"Oh no, something which doesn't exist will punish me, with flames which can't burn my no longer molecular structure"

I'm sure if that hairy douchebag jesus was about he'd be having some wine and bread in the clubs. He's ****ing rich enough after all these collections.

Despite being a Christian, I'm currently imagining God scribbling "Thou shalt not club" in the Bible and dropping it into a room of dancing students.

Well, Maybe clubbing other people is forbidden but.... =P

God also said "thou shall not join and make posts on TSR" . I suppose you're one of many Christians that picks and chooses what they follow :colonhash:
I'm 20 and still have trouble because my ID picture looks nothing like me.

If you're 17 you stand little to no chance... unless you have fake ID. Which isn't advisable.
This is such a stupid question. If you're underage, then no of course you can't. The "you must be atleast 18" thing would be a complete waste if they were to let 17 year olds in ... And if that were to happen, what about 16 year olds? Who could turn around and say "yeah but I'm nearly 17, so I'm nearly nearly old enough" Just no.

If you go on the midnight of your birthday then surely you would be able to, I don't see why you'd get rejected for that.

I don't think the OP was meaning legally get in.

Well, considering what happened to Cain, I imagine that is the way "club" is supposed to be meant in this case. I certainly don't remember any anti-clubbing laws in the Bible, but maybe I wasn't paying attention.

I'm assuming not, although maybe it's just because clubbing was never really a big issue in the desert.

Now I'm imagining teenagers sneaking into sand dunes (where the secret clubs are located) and raving, until too much sand falls on them and they have to stumble along the desert at midnight because there aren't any camels or horses that run at that time of night.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying everyone in the desert rides camels, it just seemed like a reasonable olde worlde alternative to buses.

Actually, my cousin tried to buy a bottle of vodka at the supermarket on the actual day of her 18th, and was refused on the basis that the cashier 'didn't know what time she was born' so to be certain he wasn't breaking the law he would need to wait until the next day. True story.

Made funnier by the fact she was with her mum (my aunt) who told the cashier that her daughter was born at 5am and he could take her word for it because she was there :p: he still didn't serve her. I don't think that's policy though - that guy was just being a pr*ck.
So, one question arises from this thread... best place to get fake id? aha
Depends on the club. Most will not, but we have a few clubs that allow 16 year olds as long as you are out by 12 :h:.
Generally no. But I never used to get ID'd and if I did, I usually had a borrowed one on me. Just make sure you know the info on the borrowed one and make sure all your friends call you by the name on it, rather than your real name around the bouncers! Now I'm 19, I seem to get ID'd more than when I was 16 :frown: Also, with big clubs like gatecrasher, if you book a VIP booth, they never id you when you go in, in my experience.

When I used my ID after the midnight of my 18th nowhere had a problem, except the casino because they operate on a basis of their working day starting the evening before, so couldn't let me register.
