I don't go to Anglia Ruskin but I study in Cambridge, and one of my friends that goes there lives in halls, Anastasia House. I've been a couple times and IMO its quite good, and the location is perfect, you literally live opposite the university, next to a big park/green space where people always chill and play football lie down if the weathers nice.. its not super busy but its lively. and the city centre is 10 minutes walk.. and you have a massive shopping mall down the same road. It's really nice me thinkss

I have heard all halls of residence are booked?

If you check the Anglia Ruskin website it should say. But if you apply anyway you might get one if somebody decides not to accept.
