this is my first question as a member of this soc. What things do we have to do on the biology field trip at A2 and does anyone have any extracts of their work for others to look at.

depends are you going for coursework or classwork? i know a lot of people do ecology coursework on their field trips. i on the other hand just did class work for the exam. we did succession on a saltmarsh, sampling on exposed/sheltered rocky shores, general ecology stuff. where are you going?

we just wrote up what we did in the field each day, methods etc and graphs.

im not sure tbh, we aint got the letters yet. Do you have to work in groups or single?

all our work was groups don't know if it would be different if your doing cw. it was quite good, depends on the weather really (what time of year are you going??). can involve quite late nights 9-10pm (sometimes later) but that depends on your teacher..

also went out in boats and collected plankton, looked at them under a microscope for 3 hours....god i love ecology
