Another week, 2 more Muslim sex gangs

I come from a Pakistani background. Parts of my (Punjabi) culture are misogynistic, not being allowed to wear the headscarf- too extreme, wives having to look after their mother-in-laws, being solely a housewife, being disreputable as a divorced woman etc. But nowhere, not once, even in my visit to Pakistan, did I find taking girls for sex, a cultural trait.


Of course, there are social problems in Pakistan but nowhere to the extent Western media presuppose and slander. If anything, the fact that we legalise the use of pornography, can contribute evidence of helping to facilitate rape.

If a man walked near a cliff then was pushed off, would you blame the man for walking close to the cliff or the man who pushed him?

They are 13 years old for gods sake; young, impressionable, flattered by the attention and then drugged and raped. And yet you try and blame them in any way for it. Hmm, yeah. Good luck with that one.

To be honest, I think its because family networks are tight and they arnt meant to have sex before marriage, they are men who are horny and their own women are out of bounds to them, they cant have a proper relationship with a white girl so instead just use them for sex, usually going for the younger ones as they are easier bait. I actually know a white lad like this, he says he prefers chatting up girls younger than him as they give out sex more!! (however they dont go round in gangs forcing themselves upon them, common opinion among the friend circle is hes a bit of a 'nonce' and he was also only about 16/17)

Excuse 1# They arnt a 'real' muslim.
Excuse 2# How do you even know they are muslim, or pakistani or even asian. They could all be white just with arabic names
Excuse 3# Your wacist/fascist and have an agenda against muslims
Excuse 4# What about all the white rapists, theres more of them
Excuse 5# What about Catholic Priests, no one ever mentions their religion might be a cause of their crimes (yes they do, and funnily enough no catholic apologists come out crazily defending in a sickening way)
Excuse #6 It can't have anything at all to do with Islam or backward culture, the religion is peaceful and so are muslims (we all know this is a joke)

The person I was referring to is a dopey 18 year old friend of mine whos in the army (he was about 16 when he made those comments). Hes a bit different to gangs of men often 30+ who deliberately get girls pissed and force themselves on them. Hes just a moronic highly sexed teenage boy.

You might not have met any like that, but where do you live? Also I dont think merely being muslim is going to make any horny man turn to sex gangs. Blaming it completely on islam I agree is incorrect because Quran does say to respect womem in many ways, although peoples interpretation of Islam obviously differs as it does with christianity.

I dont hang around with anyone like that, I know much better. However, when girls are young, if they dont have much, a crappy homelife etc and low self esteem these men make them feel flattered and give an opportunity to do something (these girls are often bored, have nothing to do, no money etc), and buy them stuff. I am MUCH more aware of possible dangers and things like that now than when I was 13/14, you are blind then and dont see that this sort of thing is or could turn to abuse.

I find it saddening so many don't think about these things and instead just blame the girls for being irresponsible. Its wrong and it makes me feel sick to be honest. Won't even contemplate the cultural links of the perpetrators and the well known issues their origin countries have with regards to treatment of woman, yet are 100% sure the girls are dirty stopouts who are irresponsible and should know better. Talk about hypocrisy and commenting on the lives of others whom you do not know

I didnt say muslims are allowed to beat women, I posted a book written by an Islamic Scholar stating how and when to beat your wife. Sorry you don't like the fact this happened as it makes your religion look worse than it already does to a lot of people. Why dont you take it up with the Islamic Scholar who wrote it on his incorrect views of Islam? Only arnt scholars meant to be the most knowledgeable of muslims when it comes to Islam?

Perhaps you should look into English history, whereby women were sold on the open market like cattle, and this was merely 100 years ago. Who are you to tell other people they don't treat women with respect? A simple research into Islam would demonstrate that Islam has always treated women with more respect than the west. Islam and the west are two different things, Islam is a religion the west is a geographical area and a term used to describe western europe and the US, in general. As you'll see ive stated numerous times I dont even think this sex gang thing is because of muslims, the thread title involves muslims and I posted the OP will come accross many apologists, which they have. Western SOCIETY has moved on and society in Islamic states hasnt. It isnt just in islamic states it hasnt moved on, there is also lots of backward christian practices still going on in parts of africa.
