I applied of a course at MMU through clearing. The guy said they'd be happy to offer me a place and that I'd get a letter in the post.
I have issues with verbal offers, there's nothing to back them up when problems arise.
I also called another university (Bradford) who said that they'd be happy to accept me and emailed me to tell me they'd hold the place until 11:59. Should I apply to MMU in clearing anyway even though I feel like I have no concrete confirmation.

Clearing is based on verbal offers - that's how universities (especially those like MMU who are in clearing every year) are used to working.
If they said you have a place you have a place - if you want to take it up then put in the details on Track.
