Recommended Books Maths

Hey I'm starting Mathematics at Bath in a couple of weeks (can't wait ) and I've got a list of recommended textbooks from the University. Now there is only one on the list that is required the rest are optional, however all the optional books come to a total of about £300 (which is quite a lot considering I may not need them or only parts of them). So I ask if it's worth getting all those books or just getting them from the library when needed? What if I cannot get the book out or should I just wait and buy them when I get there? This is for the first year by the way.
Cheers for reading and I look forward to your replies.

Hi there! Well done on getting into Bath, my girlfriend goes there and it's an awesome University!

If you want, I would buy the required textbook, and wait until you start and have been there for a couple of weeks before you decide whether or not you want these optional books (speak to current students, you'll find most of them didn't need the textbooks they bought!)

Good luck though!
