Alevels with No Practical/CW

I’m currently planning on taking Biology and Chemistry A-level exams In Jan/June but without submitting or taking any practical/coursework. This is to avoid the cost and time of taking the practical exams as a private candidate. After speaking with the exam boards they have said I will be able to be awarded an A-level certificate provided I still make entries for the practical units (3/6), whether I submit/attend or not. I was hoping if anyone could tell me If universities get to see or consider the individual unit grades in anyway? I will be applying for GEM. Thanks,

I don't think that's a good idea. I dont think there is such thing called coursework anymore. Anyway, if you don't take any practical then it is unlikely that you will achieve an A (iirc you need full marks on all the remaining papers?). In case if you didn't get in this year, getting Bs may impact on your future application with some university.
