I think the old age stereotype of girls being interested in the vehicle an individual drives is pretty outdated and clinically untrue. As a generalisation, I think most females would barely be able to distinguish a Nissan from a Peugeot, let alone care about how flashy it is.

If you were to make some sort of comment between female preferences and vanity, I'm sure that dress sense has far more relevance though I don't particularly have any desire to weigh in on that whole crumpet.

Anyway, went to pick his missus up, she got in the car and said "Have you had a new stereo fitted? It's got a screen?"

I have no interest whatsoever in cars and nor do I care about guys with a car. It wouldn't matter to be if he was driving a BMW or a tin can or indeed had never once had a driving lesson. If the guy was obsessed with his car it would put me off him TBH.

I honestly don't care what car a guy has, or if he has one at all. It's not exactly a deciding factor when I'm looking for a boyfriend :s-smilie:

I have a car so we could still go places together. Cars are there for getting you from A to B, not having one or having a "crap" one shouldn't make you any less desirable, unless the girl is very shallow.

Guys who think nice cars would get them girls - I think it's not likely to apply to the girls on TSR.

If you've had experience with girls being attracted to you because of your car then you've had experience with either a prepubescent girl or with a retarded person.

Girls who like you for your car = girls who like you for your money. People on TSR are students, i.e. they are people who are hoping to further their own careers independently without mooching off other people.

So if you actually want to know if average girls (as opposed to student girls) are attracted to you based on the car you drive, I suggest using a different forum. Chances are the majority would say no anyway. You would have to find the lowest form of life to say yes.
