21 Yr Old Dating 17 Yr Old?

I recently found out that a friend (17) really likes me (21), I really like her too but the age makes me feel.. Uneasy?

I'm not into sex, I was used for it a while ago, so we wouldn't be sexually active in any way. As for "urges", pornography was created for a reason!

I'm just wondering, do I go for it or do I leave it?

Go for it!! That is literally the smallest age gap  I know a 19 year old going out with a 15 year old.. which is pretty wrong. But it's alright as long as they're over 16 and you're like early 20's  haha. Seriously 17 is a good age, even if you both were into sex it's alright cos she's over 16 anyway. Anyway, maybe you'll end up being married and you both being in your 60's the age gap will seem like nothing .
That age gap is okay! So go for it

Haha true! It's just I had a bad ex (let's say her parents weren't mature enough to be parents) and spent a night in a cell waiting to be proven innocent over false claims.

It's scared me to the point where I'm worried about it happening again :s-smilie:

If you were a 17 year old girl who was liked by a 21 year old guy that is a bit weird. But this way round I think it is okay.

You are the only one to decide if you want to go ahead with the relationship with that girl.
It is understandable that you are worried about the same thing happening again. But this may not result in the same situation.
17 and 21 is fine

Dont let society shame you into thinking that there's anything wrong even if you were to be 45. As long as whatever you are doing is legal then go for it.

Disregard societal expectations and do whatever your heart desires.

When I was 17 I went out with someone that was 23. I dont think it's a big gap.

Although I imagine your reasons for not having sex are silly, that age gap really doesn't matter, regardless of whether you're having sex or not.

My first boyfriend was 21 while I was 17 and age was never an issue for either of us, go for it
I think it's fine. I'm 18, my boyfriend's 23 and we've never had anyone say anything :dontknow: it probably helps that I look older and he looks a lot younger, but still.

Peadophile in disguise trying to resist by creating alternative means of sexual satisfaction and denial.

She is 17 and so is a child still at early stages of puberty

Wait till you are 30 so no conspiracy can be laid down.
Two consenting adults going out!

Well I never.
