Benefits of having a UK driving license

Hi,

I passed the driving test a few days ago.

I am currently a student looking for a placement.

I was just wondering what the benefits are of having a UK driving license.

Well, it's essential for some jobs, a definite advantage for others and no benefit at all for some. Should usually be fairly easy to work out which jobs will fall into those categories.

well it means as long as you can afford a car you aren't restricted to look at places that are well connected by public transport for your placement. And your future life as well. Outside London its easier to get around by car.
