Am I good enough to go for Harvard/Yale?

GCSE'S: 8A*'s, 2A's

A Level's: Maths, History, Economics, Geography (Hoping for 4A'S)

10th for GB youth sailing.

Really passionate about Politics and Law.

I know they don't require GCSE's but how likely would I get accepted with similar SAT results?

Thanks all!

P.S Any UK student in the US - You happy you chose to study there?

You're on the right track, just try getting some leadership experience (i.e. through a job, starting a new club, running a business, starting an initiative in your community, leading a club/organization). Otherwise, you just need to focus this year and get those As, also try and take the SAT next year.

As for your chances, they are slim like everyone else's. Admissions in the states is not a set-in-stone process, a lot of variables are in play that determine who gets in and who doesn't. What you have to do now is just try and build your profile as I suggested - then next autumn apply and hope for the best!
