Do you attend an "Academy"?

Ours built a theatre and cinema after becoming an academy when I was in year 9 or 10, but then they were loaded anyway. 95% A*-C in the year I left, not sure whether this was an improvement on before or not.

So in your experience nothing much seems to have changed... or maybe it's too early to tell?

School changed into an Academy and the grades went straight down

Schools which have opted to become academies have improved more quickly than those staying as local authority schools. For those of attending an Academy what positive changes have you noticed, if any?

Where is your evidence for this? A pwc report shows no improvement.
My secondary school became an academy just as I was leaving and my sixth form became an academy as I started.
Results improved significantly, especially at GCSE level. Behaviour was also a lot better too.
