Sports Teams/Societies

I couldn't find a thread on this so I thought I would start one!

I found a list of sports teams and societies on the Students Union page (http://lincolnsu.com/activities/list) and I had no idea there would be so many!

Do any existing students have any recommendations? I like the look of some of the sports ones, but I haven't done much sport (I run, that's about it) so I have a feeling some of them (like football) will be prohibitively competitive.

If you're a new student, what do you like the look of?

I feel that no matter what sports team I wanted to do it would result in me tripping over my own feet haha, cinema society might be a good lazy one?

Yeah most societies usually have huge socials...great way to meet new people / get to know the area.. definitely worth joining a few... If anyone wants to know more about American football let me know, as i am on the committee :smile:
