Hi there,

Congratulations on the place!

Have you managed to apply for a room at Union Street allready? I haven't heard anything from the university about accommodation yet.

Hiya thank you, congratulations to you too, I emailed them and asked when we would be able to apply. They told me that we can't the now because we have to get our pvg and occupational health checks first, which will be given out soon.
Will you be staying on union street?

Ah thank you very much for that! That has put my mind at ease a bit.

I am hoping for union street so I will be with the other nursing students and it gives you that extra couple of weeks at the start.

No problem!
I heard that union street is better as it is in the centre of Stirling so there is much more to do. How old are you? There is different age groups for nursing.

I have heard a lot of good things about union street, people seem to like it.

Also I'm 23, what about yourself? From what I saw at the applicant day there seems to be a good mix of ages.

Hi Debbie,

just a quick word of advice. If the mods catch you advertising FB pages on TSR, it'll be removed. I done it last week and the mod PM'd me and gave me a wee warning so. Just so you know  Don't want folk getting warning cards etc

Dude I'm in almost the exact same situation as you! Did you make Stirling your firm? I made Queen's my firm mainly because it will be much cheaper to study at home (oh yeah, meant to say I'm from NI too :P) but it's unlikely I'll get the grades (need ABB) so Stirling is pretty much by best chance. The campus looks lovely, have you visited it?

Oh my goodness are you joking!? I applied for that course at Queens too!
Though I doubted I'd get the grades, so I made Stirling my firm instead! Queens is my insurance, but there's not really any point in it!
PS I finally have a maths buddy!

Yeah I only just signed up on here but I read a few of your other posts, weird that no one else has said they're doing maths yet! I would love to go to Stirling but Queen's won out financially. But as I said very unlikely I'll get the 2 B's so... Hopefully will be seeing you next year at Stirling!
