    Hi guys

I decided to try a few Lush products a few months ago and now I'm hooked. I will definitely be stalking this thread.

Just wondering if anyone could tell me what the use-by timeframe for some products is? Herbalism, Mask of Magnaminty, Tea Free Toner Water and Lemony Flutter.

    Thanks!
    Hello!

Herbalism lasts up to three months but depending on the batch, it can last a little longer. Mask of Magnaminty lasts up to three months also, and it doesn't need to be kept in the fridge like the Fresh Face Masks. Tea Tree Toner Water and Lemony Flutter both last fourteen months (:

I love lush, when I have money

I have dreadlocks and I need a shampoo that doesn't leave any kind of residue, does Lush do anything like that? Thanks

In my experience, I haven't used a shampoo from LUSH that has left any residue. I'm not sure what to suggest when it comes to dreadlocks; I'm going to guess you're not looking for a weighty shampoo (Since your dreadlocks are possibly heavy themselves?), I would suggest Daddy-O. It's enhances shine, isn't weighty and will make hair conditioned without making it feel oily, greasy and with no residue.

Thank you so much, I'll look into it

Just to say - Lemony Flutter is a great product. You can use it on nails and dry skin. Even foot massages

That's perfect, thank you! I'm just running out of my first pot of Angels On Bare Skin, really liked it but it's the first cleanser I've tried and I really like the sound of Herbalism so I'm planing to give that a go when this pot is finished.

Thank you! It sounds lovely, I've also been thinking about trying Ultrabalm but as they both sound like good multi-purpose products I'm trying to decide which to try first!

Also, does anyone know what their best hand product is for very dry/sore/sensitive hands? Mine tend to get very painful and inflammed when I put hand cream on but I don't know if they do a particularly "sensitive friendly" hand product. I got a sample of Tiny Hands which I think smells gorgeous but it's still too harsh for my skin when it gets super dry.

I'd recommend Rehab. It smells of Peppermint and it's got enzymes and essential oils so it's really good for repairing the hair too. It doesn't leave any residue and it's really refreshing! I'd agree with MysteryPass, I haven't used a Lush shampoo that leaves any residue so I think you've got a lot of choice. I can't stand the smell of violets so Daddy-O isn't for me.

    Good luck! :-)

Can't believe I've never ventured onto this thread before! Firstly, I've tried all their spot treatments except Aqua Marina and Dark Angels, none of them worked, so much money wasted in my early teens. Shame. Although Sea Salt was a decent enough exfoliator, I always worried it would scratch my face and scar it. However, their shampoo's are great! Especially Ultrashine or whatever it was called, the white one with glitter in it? The glitter never ended up in my hair which was good for everyday, but it made my hair really clean and shiny, which considering how greasy my hair used to be, is a great achievement.

The perfumes...Orange Blossom is gorgeous in every way, so's the Smell of Freedom. The first time I wore Ginger I believe my words were "I want to eat myself". That's how good it was. But now it smells kinda like it's gone off, which is weird. And not just on me, it smells like that in the little tube (I've got the solid one). Every time I wear Tuca Tuca my brother recoils in horror, so I've stopped using that. My sister has Karma, which I've stolen a few times, also smells amazing. Does anyone else miss the Comforter? I loved smelling of Vimto/Ribena/Strepsils. But I lost it on holiday and then it was discontinued. :bawling:

What else...ah, their colour supplements. Before they released Jackie Oates (which I haven't tried yet) the light yellow was a bit too orangey for my skin, but then looking back it was a fairly decent product, so I'll probably give Jackie Oates a go when I next run out of concealer.

I'm so happy I finally managed to land a job at Lush It took me 6 months and I went to 6 recruitment nights (3 for the same store and I wasn't 'loud enough' there, never received any feedback from trial shifts from other stores) and got 4 trial shifts.
I've never fought for anything like this my entire life and I have no idea why I love Lush so much, but I'm so happy My discount kicks in on monday and I'm so excited

Have you tried Coalface? Everything in Lush that's dark coloured is usually deep exfoliating or cleansing. Dark Angels might be good as well

Hoping that somebody is on here- I'm of those anxious new lushies and wanting to go buy soap today... Can someone tell me what I'm meant to do when I go into LUSH if I know what I want already?(soap)... I've only ever been guided around the shop by an employee, they gave me advice and cut the soap for me.

If I know which soap I want, do I simply go up to the person at the door and ask to cut the soap for me? Or would I hover around the soap station until somebody came over? Sounds simple but I really have no idea!

You can do either, the staff are very friendly as you've probably experienced. But since you know what soap you want, I would just go up to one of the assistants and ask them to cut you some soap, they'll be happy to help. What soaps are you getting?

Thankyou! Okay I'm less worried now, they're soo friendly- I really want to work there now. That makes sense I was thinking sultana of soap/rockstar/miranda... They just sound nice to try, or do you have any recommendations?

I've only recently tried Sultana of Soap and loved it! And I love Rockstar (It's my favourite soap!) and Miranda too. Great choices! Have you ever tried Honey I Washed The Kids? It's like a cult favourite in LUSH

I swear by ultrabland, ro's argan body conditioner, snow fairy and charity pot.
Also their perfumes are really nice, Imogene rose and vanillary are my favourites.
Does anyone stock up on snow fairy during the Christmas sales?

I swear by Ultrabland too, it's amazing! I usually buy a bottle or two of Snow Fairy but by the middle of the year I get sick of it. So I'll only buy one bottle this year. I have Ro's, but I think I prefer the Shower Smoothies, but I'm gonna keep using Ro's to see if I can get used to it more.

So the new Christmas products have been released online and in the new LUSH Times. What does everyone think of them?

I thought here would be the best place to ask this to all you lushies!

I want a product that will make my body smell nice for several hours after using it. BUT I don't want it to be a perfume Preferably a soap/ shower gel/smoothie/scrub/jelly?

I've only used bath bombs before and found their scents don't stay on me.
I quite like fruity scents but open to try new things! - any suggestions on which products would leave a lasting smell?
