It is certainly NOT a requirement. I didnt have any Physics related work experience (only experience I had was at a stables and helping at a vets! - completely unrelated!) and I got 6 offers including Oxford so it is definitely not a requirement. Plus, most Unis realised how impossible it is to get any experience!

do i have a good chance of offers for MPhys from the following unis:

Bath
Bristol
Nottingham
York
Birmingham
Leicester

With my AS grades being:
Physics-A (although may be predicted B)
Economics-A
Maths-B (one mark off A prediction likely to be B)
English-B

Eventhough my predictions are likely to be Bs in the required subjects I am confident that I should get As

Not sure about the other places, but Birmingham's MSci entry requirements are ABC (according to their site), though UCAS says they want Maths and Physics at grade B.
