What is a reasonable 'average' wage for an 'average' graduate two years after uni?

...and four, five and six years after?

(Philosophy graduate with a 2:1 from a R. group uni). 280 UCAS points.

Just wondering what sort of 'standard' I should be aiming at.
depends on your geographic location, hours of work etc.
Honestly so many people who graduate feel as though they deserve at least £20,000+ straight away but I would say the majority of graduates that I know and from Uni surveys go in to retail/customer service sort of roles until they find something suited to them or in their field. Be realistic, graft and look at the bigger picture. Work hard now to establish yourself professionally and it'll put you in good stead for the future.
I earn over £20,000 in a non-graduate role. You don't even need high school for this job in all fairness. Some earn much more than that with overtime.

I would say £20k+ is where you want to be aiming, towards £30k in 4-5 years.
