What exactly does Further Math A Level consist of?
Is it advisable to do self study for June 2015 exams?
Depends on how well you have been doing in A Level Maths. There are a lot of possible modules for you to pick, depending on your exam board. You need to do FP1 and one of FP2/FP3(the rest are applied or you could take all of FP1-FP3 and the rest applied or for AQA FP1-FP4) and you can't take the same modules as those you took, for Maths A Level.
If they don't understand that, or are unable to, by the power of Google, to find out what they are would you really say they are capable of studying it?

I recommend you read the specification that you will find on your examiners web site. It will explain what modules are available, what each covers and what combinations are allowed. I'm sure you know that you have to complete a full maths A level before you can be awarded a further maths A level.
