I'm doing Maths and will be in second year in October. My experience of it is really good. If you're wanting to do more physicsy/mechanicsy maths, just Maths might not be the course for you because it's all pure based with a bit of stats and probability thrown in (reason I chose it  )
If you do a single Maths degree (I mean not joint or anything) it's 8 hours of lectures, 2 tutorials and 2 homeworks a week for first years. With 2 tests every half term and 6 exams at the end of year. It seems quite tough compared with other courses at Lancaster but you get all your holidays free with no work looming and no big courseworks...just weekly homeworks.

I enjoyed it
