L3 Extended Diploma in Health Science Advice please

I am meant to be starting the L3 Extended Diploma in Health Science in September but unfortunately I have just been put on the liver transplant waiting list due to my childhood liver disease, biliary atresia. I am now suffering from depression as I was really looking forward to starting. I am in good health at the moment but been given advice to consider if I feel well enough to start and been told I would probably be better waiting to start after my transplant :frown:

I really want to be a Paediatric Nurse consultant in Hepatology and want to study at Birmingham City Uni
My question is should I start my course or are there any online relavant courses I can do for free as I am on ESA and PIP now
or does anyone have any other ideas on what I can do while I am waiting as I dont want to stop my studies and what would you do if you was me? in my position?
