Well done, clever student! You have to be realistic in life. It is a well-known fact that in current times, the majority of terrorist attacks are perpetrated by Muslims, most rapes and physical abuse of white and Indian girls are carried out by brutes (they do not deserve to be called men) whose names are almost invariably Khan, Ali, Mohammed, etc., (and the police are too chicken to disclose this fact) so simply paying interest for a loan is no crime or sin of any sort (I can understand your concerns if you were being asked to go into a casino and throw away your dad's hard-earnt cash). If all these cowards (lines 1-5 of this paragraph) can be hypocrites under the name of Islam, surely this is miniscule.

Mr Abdullah, get a student loan, pay them interest (it is a very low rate in any case) and proceed with your life and think of your future and career instead of imaginery beings.

You don't understand much about religion do you?

Religion isn't rational it permits the horrible things but comes down heavy on small meaningless transgressions that's religion for you.

I mean heck sake blasphemy which is criticising the ideas within the religion is a much much bigger sin then murder and rape.

In fact rape is justified in both the bible and the Koran. When Muhammad took a child to be his bridge she couldn't even understand what consent is so that is definitely rape. And what about concubine slaves in the bible? They can't give consent so that is also kind of rapey.

But don't you dare eat pork or critics the validity of the claims the Koran/bible makes that is morally repugnant.

Religion makes no sense.

Here is the best guiding principles to live by look after your welfare and the welfare of your family first within the confines of been honourable and honest and once you have secured that do the absolute most you can to help your follow man.

"the modern world" where students are getting into debt just because they want to learn so they can make a decent living.

Thank God I'm not an atheist.

Do you think the teachers should work for free? How would they provide for their families?

You're gaining something important, why shouldn't you pay for it? We're lucky enough to live in a country where the fee's are reasonable and the debt is almost interest free (interest free completely in Scotland)
By taking out the student loan, just as most Muslims do. The overwhelming majority of people cannot pay for university with their own savings so it's absurd to sacrifice the opportunity to get a degree because of superstitious beliefs.

What's atheism got to do with it? The USA is uber religious and they have a far less generous loan system than us.

The more you question and learn, the less likely you are to be religious. There's a reason 93% of scientists are atheist

Only 93%?
Take out a few years before uni to save up and then work while you're at uni too. It's not easy but possible. I'm doing it and I come from a pretty poor background.

Uhh...how? exmuslim is a place filled with people who used to be Muslim and left after researching. You can read their claims and make judgement yourself. I can tell by your attitude you've already made your mind up though.

What exactly were you hoping for? What would make you see Islam as false? If the answer is nothing then I feel sorry for you

All views are biased - doesn't make them untrue.

exmuslims have the added perspective of being muslim previously though.
