Has anyone had an History interview? / An interview at Downing college? I would like to know how you got on :')
Had History interviews at Clare - my first (based on my essays) was awful! Got absolutely ripped apart about the crusades by a crusading expert (always a fun start to what was a rather bleak Monday morning!). My second interview was source based and was much better, although I didn't feel as though the interviewers were challenging me much (and so I've kind of given up hoping for an offer). Hope yours were significantly better than mine!
Hey! I'm sure it wasn't as bad as you thought it was, I heard them tearing you apart was a good thing? I challenged their ideas of democracy in my first one....*sigh* My second one had an article on grain production ( super exciting) but I think that went better - they pushed me a little but nothing significant, but if ours were roughly the same then I guess we're in the same boat? :')
