Do you think this is possible?

I'm in my AS year and I'm studying philosophy, history, english literature and politics.
What I've been considering though is doing more, so for example, I would like to do classics but, do you think I'd be allowed to sit the exam even though I'm not in the class? What if I approached a teacher and literally asked, I'm not in any lessons but can I study this subject and sit it?

No one other than your school will be able to answer that.

They may let you sit the exam if you are prepared to pay for it and they don't record it as part of the school performance statistics.

The best thing to do is ask.
