Not eligible for student finance
Hi,
I spoke with a customer service representative for the student finance and was told I'm not eligible to apply for student finance.
I have been living in the U.K for 9 years and have recently received discretionary leave to remain in the u.k.
I really want to continue my education but I've no idea how I'm going to fund it.
Can anyone help me or tell me of someone who might be able to help and guide me?

talk to your university about it. i had trouble with my loan not coming in on time, and i went to the Student Advice and Wellbeing Centre here at ljmu and they were great
Unfortunately if you live in England, you will not be able to apply for SF with Discretionary Leave to Remain. You will only be able to apply once you have Indefinite Leave to Remain.
