Would it be easier to get accepted into 'uncommon' subjects at uni?
There are some weird combinations out there for joint honours and some courses don't have many applicants, so theoretically, it would be easier to get into these joint honours courses that the competitive ones, right? idk
Yea, even within the same department doing basically the same courses it can be easier.
At soton where I am, electronics and electrical is A*AA, I'm doing electromechanical which is broadly the same as electrical and got offered AAB.
I got in with ABB. Lowest A level results in the entire department as far as I can find :P
