Core Maths A

Has anyone here done this module? I'm thinking of taking it now in my second year, but I'm worried that because it's more than a year ago that I did A level maths I'm gonna find it really hard. Anyone know what it's like?

I've done it.

Algebra is taught by a different lecturer this year so they're bound to better than Dr. Martin. I always found it interesting anyway so enjoyed it.
Probability was crap for me, I always sucked at it but I just did more algebra questions in the exam so no sweat.
Geometry/Calculus aren't too challenging if you did Further Maths. I did single a-level maths and still found them fine.

Also, the exams are a lot more straight forward than most of the set problems.

I took a gap year, so there was more than a year of not doing maths for me too, but I found it fine cos they start from mid-A-Level stuff so it refreshes your memory before you have to do new stuff.
