Agreed. Also, I tend to do work in any free periods to reduce the amount of work at home, as well as trying to complete work on weekdays to leave at least one day of the weekend totally free.

This is a really good idea. I always worked in at least half of my free periods so I had less to do at home, and you could try doing a couple of hours in the evening as we.. That should leave most of your weekend free for socialising.

That's weird. I have more free time now than I ever did during my GCSEs.

i never used to work outside school during GCSE's. and i am doing applied ICT so it does it eat a lot of time as well as AS maths which can take a lot of time to practice.

its not good to keep working and not relaxing coz you get so stressed that you cant learn anyway.

i tend to give myself one and a half 'off' day a week just to relax. saturdays i leave to go to town with friends. and either friday evenings or sunday evenings I just read a book or spend time with family or just sleep.
I also do Applied ICT! It's a pain in the neck. I've wasted 6 hours of exam time (out of 15) getting my school account sorted out and haven't even started making my webpages yet :|
How many A-levels are you doing, OP? If you're still in your first year, you could always drop a subject you don't like/find too difficult later on, to free up time.

I don't really have all that much free time anymore, but I do make sure I go out at the very least once a week, like for the whole of Sunday or something. Just allocate your time, make lists of things you have to do, and work efficiently.

Ideas so far are good, also make sure you ask teachers if you're stuck - so you don't spend excess time trying to work out something
I don't have much free time either. I've had a little time at weekends lately, but people keep asking to meet up (who quit college) and I can't because of coursework. I think they'll think that I'm lying but I'm not.
