Is it worth doing an MSc in Economics?

I'm currently studying a BSc in Physics and planning on finding a job in Banking / Finance to earn money for a few years before returning to do a masters and PhD (in physics). Would an MSc in economics enhance my job prospects enough for me to earn more money overall during these (say 10 - 15) years or should I find a job straight after my BSc?

You won't be able to do a masters in economics with a physics degree.
