Urgent - sociology help! As level

I am currently studying AS sociology. I need to get an A and thats my goal but although I'm fine Families and Household and a bit of Education, I HAVE NO IDEA how to structure and what to put on RESEARCH METHODS essays? I only know the meaning of key terms and thats about it. I don't know how to go on about and writing about this in an exam!

Does anybody have any tips, advice, exemplar essays based on research methods? IT WOULD BE REALLY REALLY HELPFUL! My teacher is useless!
