Veterinary work experience

Has anyone got any contacts for any L.A practices or farms they could drop me through a PM, (near London, or further out that could accommodate me for a week or two for work experience.) I am in year 11 now and I'm hoping to apply to study vet medicine at uni. I have secured quite a few placements the only thing I am missing is work experience at a L.A practice and a large farm, I have emailed lots of places and am still waiting for replies but most places reserve placements for uni students doing their EMS ! Any help would be great :biggrin:

Is Norfolk too far out? I live in London as well and couldn't find anything so I had to travel and stay in a B&B for a week.

Failing that there is one in Watford which is probably the closest LA practice, depending on which side of London you're in, but I struggled to contact anyone there and ultimately couldn't organise anything.

Let me know if either of those will be of any use.

National Sheep Association runs ads for lambing opportunities - now closed as the lambing season is finished but very much worth considering for next year.
