Pg Dip mental health nursing and part time working

Hi I've recently been offered a place on to a Pg Dip mental health nursing course, and I just wondered how regular work placements are throughout the course? I will be studying in London and so besides the bursary, there arent any other funding opportunities, meaning I will need to do some degree of part time working so that I can afford to keep going.

Is it like you do one term of studying, one term of work placements? If anyone knows the course and has any experience of it that would be much appreciated
