I know mate, I was wondering about the two actually. But to be honest, I don't really want to go to university in London. I seriously don't fancy grotty accomodation and a long commute for the second and third years! Anyway, I plan to get a job there, so would rather spend the next three or four years somewhere else!! Although, I'll probably have a look 'round if I get an offer, just for peace of mind. That said, I love Durham and I'm unlikely to be swayed. I just vastly prefer it, and I don't think that the negligible, if any, difference for employment warrants taking UCL.
And here's the previous year's Law league table
:
1 Cambridge 5* A 512 88 100.0
2 Oxford 5* B 489 86 97.1
3 Durham 5* A 451 84 96.2
4 University College London 5* A 432 84 95.4
I think they're seen as about even for Law, fluctuating around the top 5 in league tables. And with regards to the 2006 one, I'll discount Aberdeen as Scotland wouldn't give me the right degree.
How do you mean, "Nottingham is seen as a level above Durham"? Durham beats them for Law every single year...?
Sorry to hear about the UCL rejection btw; best of luck with Durham!
Oh, and the neg-repper wasn't me either by the way!
