Film and Eng Lit HELP

I am considering applying for the Film and English literature course because it looks like something I would really enjoy and succeed in. Although I am worried about my grades as I am predicted:
A* Media Studies
A* Graphic Communication
B (Really trying hard for an A) English Literature
I know that the course specifically mentions that I need an A in English Literature to get in so I am pushing myself for it. Is it worth applying even if I am not 100% certain I will get the A.
Also, any advice on the Love Through The Ages A2 course and how to make sure that I can get high marks?
