Why Christ's bro?

Because: CAT, cat and dog, and STEP (if via Engineering).

* CAT = Christ's Admission's Tutor, a very helpful and active presence on the TSR Cambridge threads. I recommend you check him out @Christ's Admissions on his thread http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=3619547

* cat & dog = Christ's has a college cat (not uncommon) PLUS a "college" dog (less common). The dog is actually owned by the CAT. Not confusingly at all...

* STEP = Christ's offers for Engineering includes a requirement to get a 1 in STEP I. This is hard, but conversely means they have a higher offer rate than other colleges.

You should also join the Cambridge applicants thread: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=3554013

Was in the same boat;

Mancs is Russell Group but lower ranked than bath this year for chemeng. Rankings fluctuate annually so may be different when you graduate.
Bath has nice campus, and a better name than mancs.

Either toss a coin or pick the one closest to you (or furthest depending on whether you like your family)
3 questions;

Lines between paragraphs on personal statements; yay or nay?
If talking about something you did at a uni, should you mention it's name?
Shall I put subjects and chem eng with capital letters at start in my ps?

Hi guys
I'll make this as short as possible
GCSE's 1A* 4A 3B 1Distinction*
As levels AAAA (bio chem msths IT)
A2 pred A*A*A (maths chem bio respectively)

Is it worth paying to Imperial
Thanks for the help :yes:

Hi,

My predicted grades are AAA (with the possibility of getting an A* in one of the subjects to push it up to A*AA). I'm not sure how I should apply to universities, I've decided to choose one with higher requirements of A*AA but the other 4 I've chosen to apply to are all below my predicted grades, is this wise?

I was asking if it's wise to apply to 4 unis with requirements less than my predicted grades.. and if you check most unis are AAB, I wasn't asking about prominent unis.

Choose 2 at A*AA. 2 at AAA, 1 at AAB
