Study Abroad help? Italy/Scotland

Okay so as most of you probably know exam results day is pretty soon and I will need to make a choice as to what course I want to study at university. Ideally I would like to go to a Scottish university to study medicine, however, if my grades are not as good as expected I will need a plan B.
I would like to study something in the field of medicine, something medical/science related. Does anyone know of any courses you can study at a Scottish uni, but go abroad for a year or so to study in an Italian uni? I know there are programmes like erasmus etc ..any information would be great :smile:

Most unis offer the opportunity for students doing any subject to go abroad on an Erasmus year, and normally study. Italy is likely to be a choice that many would offer, but you'd have to check with the uni you are planning to attend to make sure.

However, most people stupidly don't go because they're scared of graduating without their friends etc.
