Should I take a gap year?
So I'm in my third year of A-level (resat AS) and this year I got AABC dropping the C I want to go to Nottingham university to study law however I don't really want to go to university next year even if I do get the entry requirements in August is it really worth taking a gap year or will I be put at a disadvantage because I'm already in my third year?
I'd suggest you do what you feel like doing. I am re-taking some of my A-levels after my second year and am now taking a gap year - its loads of extra hassle so you have to be pretty determined.
If you think a gap year is the best option then go for it, but it will make applying even harder next year. You should definitely talk to the uni about gap years aswell.
