Brief British and American English question.

There's a difference in spelling in certain words like "realised" and "realized" or "internalise" and "internalize" between Britain and America. I'm just wondering if this S / Z thing is a rule for all words of this style, or if its just certain words that change between the cultures. So for example, "organisation" may be spelled like that in Britain and in America, in which case it's likely that the rule only applies to certain words. But then again, it may not.

Any ideas?

P.S. Sorry about the question being worded so badly, I'm a little confused.

I generally consider using a Z to be the American way, so I only ever use S for words that end '...ise' (apart from the word 'capsize'). I don't think you can go far wrong if you use S on most occassions.
