need hobby idea's

hello, i study at the university of Lincoln doing art in my second year.
I have social anxiety, depression and no friends and i'm trying to find low cost or free hobby idea's to do to keep me sane besides drawing and doing my uni work (more drawing) I am part of two society's but struggle to go on occasions due to fear.
any suggestions it great thanks.

It seems all of the other posters also suffer from anxiety by the looks of it :wink:

Seriously though, as someone who's in a similar situation I'd join a society where people are likely to have roughly the same feelings. The harry potter soc really helped me. Apparently the gaming soc is good for that sort of thing too. You could even get a non-customer based job I guess. I speak as if I know about this but I'm honestly just pulling ideas out of my *** .
