Writing a second attempt in edexcel maths exam
My teacher told me to write a second attempt rather than crossing out the first attempt in order to maximize my marks in edexcel maths exams. Will the marker mark both of the attempts in fact?

Yes, if you look at the marking specification they say that: That is whatever you write that is correct will be marked and not penalised

Mark schemes should be applied positively. Candidates mustbe rewarded for what they have shown they can do ratherthan penalised for omissions.
