How to calculate the overall percentage of a degree that has % in %
In the first year of the course: Total 120 credits
The main exam = 45% of the overall grade (grade e.g. is 60% (as 60/100)
The coursework (assignments) = 55% of the overall grade
-assignment 1 = 18% of the coursework (grade e.g. is 80% as 80/100 etc)
-assignment 2 = 10% of the coursework (grade e.g. 100%)
-assignment 3 = 18% of the coursework (grade e.g. 60%)
-assignment 4 = 18% of the coursework (grade e.g. 70%)
-assignment 5 = 18% of the coursework (grade = 50%)
-assignment 6 = 18% of the coursework (grade = 90%)
(All the assignments add up to 100% of the 55% that accounts for the coursework if that makes sense?)
How would a student go about calculating their grade from this?
